Boring Needle

The Boring Needle is used to create delicate and intricate embroidery such as decorative collars on women's blouses, elegant table linens and window treatments. This specially designed needle pierces the fabric, cutting it into various shapes and leaving holes in the product. Regular stitches are then sewn around the holes to finish the cut edges. The boring needle replaces a regular embroidery needle, and can be used with any type of sewing head. A special digitizing technique is required to cut the shaped hole and generate the regular stitches.
